So the time has come – this is the official countdown – WE ARE MOVING!!!

Let me start by saying that I finally feel like a heavy weight has been lifted off my shoulders now that I am making this announcement.

This has been almost 9 years in the making. Don’t get me wrong, I have moved 3 other times in the last 9 years but not to the destination I had originally planned.

You see, work has kept my family away from making the move we have been dreaming of for years and now thankfully because of work, I am finally having the opportunity to make the move to where we wanted to be.

Like any move, there are always hick-ups and bumps on the road that I have to still clear out of the way but one way or another, it’s happening!

It’s been a bittersweet moment – awaited for so many years that does not yet feel 100% real. But I am starting to get excited and honestly, I am emotionally ready to do this.

I have been packing (for years) or should I be really honest – I never fully unpacked from my previous move LOL. It’s true, I have boxes that it is still sealed and I have no idea what’s in them. But I have already started decluttering and getting rid of the “stuff” I do not want or need to take with us.

My plan for this move is to get rid of the stuff that no longer is needed in our household so I do plan on finally opening the unopened boxes and figuring out what I am keeping and what I am throwing away or donating.

The current mindset I have is I want to keep the minimum lifestyle – so, if I haven’t missed anything in the last six months, most likely I will not need it. So when I open the “unopened” boxes it will be either garbage or donation at this point.

Where are we moving to?

Well – this may sound a little bit contradictory but we have picked 2 places that are our top dream locations.

The final location is not yet 100% finalized since it’s in 2 different states. But we are taking a vacation to each location to help us make our final decision.

I am definitely blessed to be able to have the opportunity to make this decision so we are super hyped about this new adventure.
